Firozabad is the only large-scale hand-blown glass cluster in India. Fifty kilometres south of Agra, two hundred furnaces run continuously — producing chandeliers, vases, decanters, decorative glass, lighting. The industry traces its lineage to Mughal-era glass-bangle makers.
We work with eight master furnace houses here, including the two oldest. A chandelier order moves through the furnace, the cutter, the polisher, the brass-arm assembler, the wirer and the QC bench — all within a 4 km radius. The complete supply chain is on one street.
Glass exports come with one risk: damage. Our Firozabad partners pack every chandelier individually in air-cell foam, then wood-crate per ISPM-15 spec. Damage rate at destination across the past 12 months: 0.4%. Industry average: 2.1%.
